Paris, the city of love.

Bonjour,

I thought it was completely necessary to blog about one of my favourite trips ever. Last week I was whisked away to Paris by my amazing boyfriend as a present for my 21st birthday.  We went for two nights and seen as much sites as we could.

So I shall start with my favourite, the Eiffel Tower.

(typical tourist Eiffel Tower photo, hehe)

 Oh and the views!!

The Eiffel Tower was breathtaking, its just as amazing as you always imagine. We went right to the top and took in the beautiful sites of Paris, you can see the whole of Paris. After returning back to the ground we decided to take a picnic on the grass surrounding the Eiffel Tower and we sat in the sun taking in the view. It was such a lovely day.

We spent the rest of our time visiting the Louvre, Love Lock bridge, Notre Dame and other tourist areas. Paris has so much to see and the famous tourist destination including the Eiffel Tower and Louvre as definitely worth taking a trip to.

Of course I have never felt as loved up as we did in Paris especially sat by the Eiffel Tower with our picnic, it really is a romantic city with a lovely feel to.

I'd love to hear of any other blog posts of a time in Paris, please leave your links below!

May, my favourite month of the year.

Good Afternoon,
Once again May has been a fantastic month, possibly one of the best months of the year.
In the space of a month I have been a festival goer, turned 21 and held a party and was whisked away to Paris (check out my next blog post for my amazing Paris trip). A whole lotta happiness in one sentence.

Swingamajig
To start of the month with a bang, myself and friends attended Swingamajig Festival in Birmingham, an electric-swing music festival. Having had such a great time last year with lots of alcohol, dancing and gypsy mayhem fun it was a no-brainer to attend this year.
Below I wore Missguided flares, I fell in love with these flares online when I seen they were one of my favourite colours.

Swingamajig was crazy and so much fun with the event organisers increasing their stages this year and increasing the size of the venue. One of my favourite acts of the evening was Ed Solo, he went off!

21st Party

(decoration of part of the garden)
Once I had recovered from Swingamajig the party planning started for my 21st. On the 19th of May I held a party at my home in Wales, I decided to do it fairytale themed in which I could decorate the garden and everybody would have fun dressing up.

I decided to go as Poison Ivy, I wanted to hand make my costume. As seen below I started with a corset and stuck fake ivy leaves on with a glue gun.

I had roughly 60 guests at the party including family members and friends. I had the best birthday I could ask for, all my closest friends and family were there to enjoy my day with me.
My dad performed in his band, with a surprise three songs which included the spice girls (childhood memories), wonderwall and yellow (favourite songs) were performed.
After the band ended my two friends set up their decks and DJ'ed for the rest of the evening.

From turning 21 it has made me extremely grateful for life and the people I have by my side. I feel extremely lucky to have so many dear friends and family that care about me.
To top off an already epic birthday my family all chipped in and bought me a Mini Cooper, how lucky am I?!

So has anybody else been festival goers this month? I'd love to know a bit about different festivals! I am always on the look out for a new festival!
